This is our dream - to make our two Wah Yan schools centres of excellent education and formation of character for the future. To do this we need your support and help. As you know the best investment of our resources and energy is in the future lives of our youth.. We want to make our education in Wah Yan not only one of excellence in developing students' knowledge but also one of excellence in developing students' character and values. As Theodore Roosevelt once said "To educate a person in mind and not in morals, is to educate a menace to society".

We need, besides creative school planning, to give teachers the opportunity to develop their professional skills and a formation in values and in Jesuit education vision and mission.

We need to employ additional good teachers of both English, Chinese and Mathematics so that we can provide split classes, wider choices of subjects and teachers of debate, drama, music, games etc., so that we can provide a better all-round education to the students. As you know Government resources are very limited and so we need extra financial resources to fulfill our dream. Any help you can give, big or small, will be gratefully acknowledged and appreciated. Help us educate 'men for others'.

In December 2003, The Wah Yan One Family Concert was organized by a group of alumni of both Wah Yan College, Hong Kong & Kowloon. Upon realizing the needs of their Alma Mater, they had gotten together to plan, produce and perform on that wonderful occasion to raise much needed fund for both schools.

This dedicated group of alumni, from both Wah Yan College, Hong Kong & Kowloon, had developed a deep sense of camaraderie reaffirming the Wah Yan identity. This further inspired their desire to nurture closer ties between the two Wah Yan College with the vision of unfolding the latent potentials of the students through co-operation and competition.

Building on the success of the Concert, and the subsequent spirit and support generated, the same group of alumni, with further support and contribution from other Wahyanites, has formed The Wah Yan One Family Foundation. The objectives of The Foundation will be to render assistance to both Wah Yan College, Hong Kong & Kowloon, in their continuing strife of bringing quality education to future generation of Wahyanites.

The Wah Yan One Family Foundation hereby pledges our commitment to foster the academic excellence and personality growth of the Wahyanites in the pursuit of their dreams.
